Well I think we spoke to soon about sleeping through the night!
We have committed the sin of going to let him out when he cried, so last night was a battle of wills I think it ended up 2-1 to Rob and I .Tonight we're going to have to leave him all night otherwise he's never going to settle properly.
We're taking him to meet the neighbours and explain this afternoon so they don't start banging on the walls!
After what was a difficult night he has been a little star today, toileted properly and the one time he did need to wee he went on the puppy pad by his water dish so no mess. He has also happily gone into his bed of his own accord to go to sleep three times. He seems to favour the flat on the back all limbs sprawled sleeping position!
After a very noisy first journey in the car crate he settled down brilliantly on the way back, and whilst at the vets he was showered with attention by all of the receptionists and didn't bat an eyelid when coming face to face with two bull dogs, some kittens, and a terrier. He was very good whilst on the vet's table and even went to sleep in the end.
Apparently he has a tiny hernia but he can't feel it and it should just heal itself other than that he is in tip top condition.
He's a very chilled little dude.
The rabbits have tried to claim back the yard and left little presents all over the place. Something they haven't done since the day they came home. It was a race against time trying to pick them up before Rohan the vacuum cleaner spotted them.
They made good progress this morning with a bit of nose touching so its progressing well. The rabbits are happy and eating and exercising normally while he's out so they aren't threatened or intimidated by him at all which is great.
We're taking him out this afternoon for a little fresh air and socialisation so we'll see if any thing phases him.
